Jiná tvář Miyabi - v neděli 19. ledna 2020 od 14hod 16. 01. 2020 11:54

Friends! Best greetings to the new year 2020. I wish you to invite each day with brightness on your face and in your soul. I wish you to get well along with all sufferings which you even do not cause. Japanese people like to tell others and to self too “Ganbatte kudasai” or “Ganbarimashou”, “Ganbarimasu” which means “Keep going”, “We will do it”, “I will do my best” or even the Czech favorite “After the hard time a good time will come again”. Maybe people are helped by the philosophy of one Japanese wise sentence often written on scrolls used for the Japanese Tea Ceremony. It is “Nichi Nichi Kou Nichi”. I will decorate the scroll with these words in Miyabi the coming Sunday when we will hold the party The Other Face of Miyabi (JTM). I understand the four Japanese characters on the scroll “Day”and again “Day”, then “Love” and “Day” as a wish, hope and determination, that every day is to be taken as a good day, be it rain or whatever falls down from the sky. I would like to live that way. And I hope that you have the same wish, and will live through the year 2020, which is said to be in a sign of Sci-fi, in peace and goodness.

Yes, this Sunday January 19, (afternoon from 2pm) is the day, when Miyabi will serve as a place where we can meet and say “Kampai” with good sake in wooden little boxed masu and celebrate new year. This time we will enjoy the Tea Ceremony at the setting of urushi table called Misonodana. At the tatami room Darek Machaně will display his arrangements of little moss gardens as a one day show named “Forest in your home”. In his art he is inspired by the Japanese nature. And of course, we will make each other a good company and have a good time!

I am looking forward to meet you all and please accept my apology that the announcement of JTM comes at the last moment.
